FREEDOM 180 TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL COMMUNITY AWARENESS DAY

PANAMA CITY, Fla.— Freedom 180, the positive youth development program of the Florida Department of Health in Bay County is hosting the 2nd Annual Community Awareness Day on Saturday, February 18 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This event will be held at Kingdom Life Ministries located at 306 Spikes Road.  The event is free and offers fun for all ages. 

One bag of food will be available to each family for as long as the food donations last. Local vendors and community service providers will offer information, games for the children, services, shopping and door prizes. You can even participate in a Chili Cookoff with a $100 grand prize.

Positive youth development parent sessions will be held at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  Other services include breast exams for qualifying women (ages 50 – 64, income based with no insurance, proof of income or ID will not be required), HIV testing, Hepatitis C testing, hearing screenings, glucose screenings, blood pressure screenings, and haircuts.
